Procesadora De Alimentos Del Sur Limitada is an industrial pork slaughterhouse with its own specialised cutting and deboning section. Felipe Alvaro is founder and director since 1998. Under the leadership of the Alvaro family, the company has grown to become an important player in its field, where quality and service are paramount. We are now the main animal protein producer in Chile, with more than 20 years of experience in the country and 15 years of experience in the global market.

Products and Markets

Procesadora De Alimentos Del Sur Limitada produces high-quality products that meet European and Asian Hygiene standards. All slaughtering, cutting, deboning and packaging is carried out at one location. The slaughtering capacity has gradually risen up to approximately 20,000 pigs per day. The double fully automated killing, slaughter and cutting lines allow us to proceed, without interruption, to the standard cut of the pigs into bone in and boneless cuts. We also deliver 6 way cuts and half carcasses. Export of frozen products takes place to the North America, Europe, Russia and Asia. With ultra-modern technology a final product of very high quality is produced in accordance with last Chilean legislation.

Since 2002 we have successfully participated in various food exhibitions and Chilean Quality Product Award schemes. In 2006 the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development awarded our company with a special Chilean Agricultural Quality Award.
